Background: Thermal waters have been showing different beneficial effects on the skin due to their physicochemical composition. The effect of thermal water in treatment some diseases may thus justify its use as an active ingredient cosmetic formulations. main objective this work was demonstrate potential incorporating (2) Methods: A descriptive literature review carried out by analysis scientific articles PubMed and Google Scholar databases. Twelve spring were found (Avène, Blue Lagoon, Comano, Cró, Dead Sea, La Roche-Posay, Monfortinho, Saint-Gervais, Salies-de-Béarn, São Pedro do Sul, Uriage Vichy) with products, demonstrated through vitro studies evaluating activities/properties clinical trials healthy volunteers or pathologies.
